What can I say, this place has seriously gone downhill over the last few years….
The creation of Asda and Maccie D’s and the current development of KFC has meant that Blackwood is now a haven for ***** from all over the valleys. Rumour has it that they come as far afield as Merthyr Tydfil and Risca to experience the “life”, great.
Hangouts include Whetherspoons which you pretty much have to avoid Thursday-Sunday due to the influx of *****. The Red Lion, more commonly known as “The Lion” is a regular haunt on a Thursday and can be full of minors (underage *****).
Don’t even think about going shopping there on a weekend as you can’t get up and down the high street without some ******** running over your foot with her double buggy.
All I can say about Blackwood is that it’s gonna get worse before it gets better and I for one can’t wait to get out.
