Blackhall Colliery – I honestly wish I had never set foot in the place

Is Blackhall Colliery a nice place to live or is Blackhall Colliery rough?

Lived in Blackhall Colliery for a while now and I honestly wish I had never set foot in the place, cannot wait to get out this really is the pits here, but of course there is now no pit here now. Blackhall Colliery, Easington, Horden and other villages in this area are all down at heel, jobs, what jobs, no mining , so there are none.

This is the area that Mr Blair had selected to improve as it was and still is the most deprived area in the North East, thing is he wanted the private sector to back his woolly ideas, so nothing got done .A lot of the people have no manners, talk like heathens and dress like they want to evade the law, hoods up even when the sun beats down. It’s a sort of dress code for gangsters and all the youth adopt this dress.

Recently in this so called, if you ask the locals who are a bit older ‘quiet village’, there has been bank robberies, murders, suicides and all manner of crime. Quiet no, definitely not and that is when the motor bikes are not revving up and chewing up the grass, much worse then, this place really should have no 1 spot for the biggest **** hole in the country.
